As-is vs Plan over time
About this chart
Solid line = the plan (each position's baseline + expected return + budgeted flows over time).
Dashed line = recorded monthly as-is, summed across positions.
Where a position has no reading for a month, the chart substitutes that position's plan value.
Dot colour reflects data completeness for that month, not performance:
● green = 100% recorded,
● lime = partial,
● amber = 100% fallback to plan (amber means "missing data," not "underperforming").
Hover for the exact mix.
Wealth over time (historic + forecast)
As-is vs Plan-to-date
About this chart
Plan = each position's baseline + expected return + budgeted flows, evaluated at the current month.
Caveat: a position with no expected return and no pinned flows has a flat plan equal to its baseline, so equal bars there mean
"no growth was assumed", not "exactly on plan". The wealth-positions table tags those rows.
Forecasted monthly cash flow (next 12 months)
Liquid cash flow incl. transfers (next 12 months)
About this chart
Same income/costs as above, plus recurring transfers between accounts.
Transfers to an invest-type account (not freely available)
reduce the chart; transfers from an invest account back to a
liquid account add to it. Liquid↔liquid and invest↔invest transfers
are a wash.

Accounts
Concrete accounts (e.g. "Selva ETFs", "Flatex ETFs"). Each belongs to one account type. Wealth, income, costs and transfers are recorded against an account.
Debt you owe (mortgages, loans, credit-card balances). A mortgage can be linked to its underlying real-estate position so the positions table can show net value and loan-to-value.

SNB Leitzins Monitor
checking live data…
Track the Swiss National Bank policy rate and indicators that may signal a future hike.
Update values manually after each SNB decision or new CPI release.
Live data sources
Horizon scores (heuristic, secondary)
⚠
Heuristic only — not statistically validated.
Each horizon's score is the sum of hand-chosen weights from
MODEL_WEIGHTS (top of the script) — no regression,
no backtest. Treat scores as ordinal signals, not calibrated
probabilities. The primary forecasts (SNB's own published
inflation path; market-implied SARON futures path) are not yet
wired in — SNB's forecast lives only in quarterly PDFs and
SARON futures has no clean public feed. This panel is meant
as a secondary overlay against those, when they're available.
Not financial advice.

Each "Save to history" snapshot creates a point. Click "Save to history" after
entering new values to plot the trend over time.
Swiss yield curve context
(historical context, not live)
Bond yields are manual entries — no working SNB cube ID was
discoverable for daily-fresh data. The values shown here inform
long-horizon context only; they do not drive any horizon score.
Monte Carlo projection across 500 simulated paths. Success = wealth stays ≥ 0 from today through expected lifespan.
Heuristic model — volatilities not fitted.
Liquid and invest annual volatilities are hand-picked defaults
(currently 1% liquid /
15% invest). The bands
below depend on these numbers; treat them as a sensitivity
tool, not a forecast. Edit in
.
Required inputs
Fill these in on the
tab for the most accurate projection. Until then the plan uses country defaults where it can.
Retirement income breakdown
What your monthly income looks like once retired, at the chosen retirement age
(median scenario). AHV is from your country's rules — overridden by a
"Pension start" life event if you've added one. Pillar 2 = pension-account
balance projected to retirement (each position grown at its own expected
return) times the country conversion rate.
Wealth through retirement
Wealth path projected month-by-month from today through your expected lifespan.
Shaded band is the P10–P90 range across all Monte Carlo paths; the solid line is the P50 (median).
Default view deflates each month's nominal CHF back to today's purchasing power using the
country's inflation rate — switch to "Future CHF" to see the raw model output.
Inflation: —%/y
— country long-run target (not fitted to realised CPI).
Applied to all recurring incomes, costs, target spend, and AHV. Returns stay nominal.
Country comparison
Same wealth, same life events — different country rules. Helpful
for "what if I moved" or "how much of my retirement gap is
country-driven vs personal-savings-driven". State pension figures
are converted into your primary currency.
Life events
Events that change your cash flow at a future date — pension start (AHV),
inheritance, sabbatical, kids leaving home. Probability is applied as a
deterministic scale on the monthly amount in PR B (full Monte Carlo in v1.1).

Monte Carlo simulation
heuristic
Volatilities are hand-picked defaults — not fitted to your portfolio.
Liquid covers cash and savings; invest covers stocks, funds, crypto, real estate, etc.
The portfolio-weighted blend drives the per-month return draws in the simulation.
Health Score weights
heuristic — not fitted
These weights are the author's prior, not a fitted model.
They reflect a belief about which dimensions matter most for personal
financial health; they have NOT been calibrated against any empirical
outcome data. Treat the score as a directional indicator, not a
verdict. Sum is normalised at render time, so any non-negative
numbers work.
